I bought 3 whistles (1 for the boat; 1 for daughter in tornado-prone MO; and 1 for myself in tornado-prone AL). One test drive was all it took to confirm it is the loadest whistle ever! It takes very little effort to achieve the desired performance. Great item for storm shelter or other emergency pack.
